Lahti is easy to reach – the city occupies an ideal location 1 hour from Helsinki with good connections by road, rail or air. As a medium-sized Finnish city, Lahti is a safe arena for youth events. Lahti is safe to walk around to experience the gorgeous lake environment and the beauty of the Finnish summer nights.
Everything is within walking distance! The location of the city centre right in the vicinity of Vesijärvi harbor, makes it possible for the event area to be within a 10-minute walking distance from the city centre.
The accommodation can be provided for competitors and their support teams in the heart of the city. As the competition grounds are located close to hotels, you can also enjoy the numerous leisure-time activities offered by Lahti and it’s neighbouring towns. An entertainment centre with cinemas, a myriad of restaurants, museums, and shops are all available for support groups and family members.
